I checked my favorite wargame channel LWTV today and read the sad/ happy news. Video editor and anchorman Greg Wagman published a month ago on Patreon about important personal changes:
Season 4 and our weekly content will continue uninterrupted through the end of the year. We have lots of great games, reviews, and tutorials coming up on YouTube! But looking into 2024, once our 1813 campaign season finale airs, the channel will go dark for awhile. How long? Honestly, I have no idea. Whenever my son begins sleeping through the night would be a damn fine place to start! Little Wars TV does not have a formal paternity leave policy, so we’ll be making this up as we go along.
But all kidding aside, the guys in the club, myself included, DO want to continue making wargaming videos. You’ll see us again on YouTube in 2024. Exactly when that is and what it looks like remains to seen.
Congratz, Greg! Fatherhood is a wonderful adventure that brings new challenges and priorities. However, when the kids were sleeping I had time to paint and read rules, and when they entered school I started a wargame club.
The LWTV quick-strike challenge and how-to-videos helped me to learn the basics of simple editing and inspired me to make our own club videos. Take your time, be happy, for now thanks to you and the crew!

Winding down could mean “soon to end” but from what they say sounds more like slowing down and uncertain.
It does show the risk of the American-style tendency to gaming of being a one-man-band rather than the British club approach of delegating more aspects.
I suggested they continue even if less frequent and less quality. Their standards are do high, it would be acceptable to see the remainder with imperfections.
