Napoleonic 2mm Wargame Scenery From Brigade Models at the Colours Show 2023

In September I visited the Colours Wargames Show in Newbury (I think I was the only Dutch visitor. Crisis Antwerp is gone. I needed you, Newbury!).

Nice show with participation gaming. Enjoyed it.

Being Dutch, I buy most of my stuff online. I prefer to buy at shows because I’d like to see what I buy first. To my delight Brigade Models was one of the traders. I own two Napoleonic 2mm armies (here’s my painting tutorial). Irregular 2mm scenery that I bought online is good. Below the painted Middle Eastern buildings and Greco-Roman buildings (for my Ancient 2mm project).

Brigade models also has a fantastic Greco-Roman range (that I wisely skipped) and a perfect range of Italian/ Mediterranean village buildings and European buildings, great as scenery for mass 2mm battles.

After basing and painting, it looked like this:

The cathedrals, btw, are Irregular’s.

The art of 2mm is the art of bringing a table to life.

I can’t wait to play a very big battle!

  1. It’s a very good show, AND Brigade stuff is lovely… Lucky choice 🙂. I went ‘for an hour or two’, and came out five hours later 😁
