All problems in 6mm wargaming are actually very small problems, but some problems sometimes appear to be huge.
Like: where do I get a proper 6mm cathedral? As I blogged earlier, a convincing 6mm cathedral (unlika a standard church) is hard to find. JR used to produce a cathedral in 6mm that was imported to the UK by Magister Militum. But JR is gone, the UK is for me as EU citizen behind a customs wall, the cathedral model is/was out of stock and MM is closing the shop, BTW.
And then I entered a souvenir shop in Cologne, Germany.
Here’s the cheap white metal “Cologne Dom model” that I found.

A good 6mm match. Just add paint and – ready for the tabletop!

Also available in 2mm.

In a Berlin souvenir shop I discovered a prepainted Berlin Dom model and, in 15mm and 6mm scale, a Reichstag!

And the Brandenburger Tor in two scales!

A few months earlier, in New York, I found a perfect statue. The original was slightly to big to take home, sadly 🙂

All models are 8 to 15 euro, a bargain for grand 6mm buildings! I’ll look online for a few more landmarks. The 1814 6mm Battle of Paris with the Arc de Triomphe and the Sacré Coeur in the background… fantastic!
PS: years ago, I bought the Mega Mini Build Your Own Stonehenge kit, below. Great for 15mm Ancient battles. Only 8 euro these days.
